Step 1. Repair Window Registry Manually
- Go to the search bar near the start located at the left corner of the screen then input ‘command’ in the search bar. Press Enter by holding CTRL + Shift button from keyboard.
- Now, a permission dialogue box will appear. Then,click on Yes, and a Black box will display on the screen.
- In the box input ‘regedit’ and then, press enter.
- Choose the previous working file from the back up in the Registry Editor and select Export to lead them back up in the File menu.
- Now, choose the location where you want to save the backup file and make sure that the selected branch option is chosen in the Export Range box
- Click on Save option and save the file to .reg file extension.
Step 2. Run Window System File checker
- Head to Start and enter ‘Command’ but only click Enter while holding CTRL + Shift from your keyboard.
